The Kennedy Manor Hotel and Apartments
1 Langdon Street at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue, looking southeast. Kennedy Manor was designed for the Doctors Kennedy by the Madison architectural firm of Flad and Moulton. Erected beginning in May, 1929. Immel Construction Company, contractor.

Completed in 1931, the dining room was designed to serve the residents of the apartment building in which it is located. Many of the apartments were without kitchens and the dining room became a popular spot for dinner, meetings, parties and wedding receptions. In 1993 the room was redesigned and has been described as "timeless," "urbane," "comfortable," almost "Viennese".
